RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

The Institute of Islamic Studies maintains a strong commitment to academic excellence and scholarly contribution through continuous research and publication. Its annual peer-reviewed research journal, Bayan ul Hikmah, serves as a prestigious platform for disseminating original research in various fields of Islamic Studies. The journal, recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in 2020, is indexed in reputable international databases such as IRI (Islamic Research Index) and AIR (Asian Index of Research), reflecting its academic credibility and growing global reach.

In addition to journal publications, the faculty members of the Institute are actively involved in research projects, paper presentations, and collaborations at both national and international forums. They regularly contribute to HEC-approved journals and participate in conferences, symposia, and academic dialogues focusing on contemporary issues in religion, society, and interfaith harmony.

Notably, the Director of the Institute has been awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship under the Sindh Higher Education Commission’s 1st National Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, a recognition of the Institute’s academic standing and commitment to advancing research in the field of Islamic Studies.
